Se non ora, quando?

I know that it's not about my English project, but I want to share this on my blog. Tomorrow I'm going to the "Se non ora quando?" demonstration. It's going to start from piazza Matteotti (Naples) at 10 a.m.

I firmly believe that Italy is not a country for women and tomorrow I know I can't change anything only protesting, but it's important to say "I was there because I'm a woman and I'm proud of it".
Here there is the "vademecum" of the manifestation:
  • The event is not done to judge other women against other women, or to divide them into "good ones and bad ones". The signs or banners will take into account.
  • The event is done to show our strength and our determination.
  • We are women with pride. We demand dignity and respect for ourselves and for all.We are jealous of our autonomy and they will not "use" us. For this there must be no trade union or political symbols in our parades, we want to be respected our "transversality"too.
  • The event is promoted by women, but - as we say in our cause -the participation of men is required and they are welcome.
  • We will try to speak first to the young women and young people for involving them and bringing them along the streets.
  • You can wear a white scarf and walk with us.
Some slogans are: If not now, when? This is not a country for women. Women's dignity is the dignity of the Nation. The dignity of the Nation is women's dignity.
